Internet Explorer version 6
- On the Tools menu, select "Internet Options..."
- Click the "Privacy" tab
- Ensure that the privacy level is set no higher than "Medium High"
- Click the "OK" button
Internet Explorer version 5
- On the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
- Click the Security tab.
- If the security level is set to Custom, you can change it to another setting (we recommend Medium) or click the Custom Level... button. Then, under Cookies, click Enable for both options.
- Click OK.
Internet Explorer version 4
- On the View menu, select Internet Options.
- Click the Security tab.
- Under Security, find the Cookies section and click Always accept cookie.
- Click OK.
Internet Explorer version 3
- On the View menu, select Options.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- In the Warnings section, make sure that Warn before accepting "cookies" is not checked.
- Click OK.
Netscape versions 6 and 7.1
- On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
- Click the Privacy & Security, and then Cookies. If you can't see Cookies directly under Privacy and Security, try either clicking the triangle to the left of Privacy & Security or double clicking on Privacy and Security
- Click on Enable All Cookies.
- Click OK.
Macintosh/Power PC systems using Internet Explorer 3 or 4
- On the Edit menu, select Preferences.
- Under Receiving files, click cookies.
- For When receiving cookies, select never ask.
- Click OK.
IBM-compatible systems using AOL
This is a two-step process that depends upon the software you're using.
Part 1:
- Click "My AOL."
- Click Preferences.
- Click WWW.
Part 2:
Once you are viewing the WWW box, you will have to try each of the following methods. Either one or the other should address your needs:
Version A:
- Click the Security tab.
- If the security level is set to Custom, you can change it to another setting (we recommend Medium) or click the Custom Level... button. Then, under Cookies, click Enable for both options.
Version B:
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Under Security, find the Cookies section and click Always accept cookie.
- Click OK.
Macintosh/Power PC systems using AOL
- From the My AOL menu on the AOL toolbar, select Preferences.
- Select the WWW icon.
- Click Advanced settings.
- Under Receiving Files, choose cookies.
- For "When receiving cookies," select "never ask."
Macintosh/Power PC systems using Netscape
- From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
- Click the Advanced category.
- Under Cookies check Accept all cookies.
