Three studies have been conducted to assess the effects of different forms of vitamin E on vitamin E status. Results from these studies indicate that the source of vitamin E significantly affects vitamin E status in exercised and unexercised horses.

Equine Science 2006

Dr. Peter Huntington and Clarissa Brown-Douglas, PhD will be speaking at Equine Science 2006 which will showcase recent horse related research conducted by scientists in Australia and overseas. It is the first time this meeting has been held in Australia, but it is expected to be a regular event like the Equine Science Society meeting in the US.

The meeting will be held at the Gold Coast on June 13 and 14 after the Brisbane Cup carnival and during the Magic Millions mare sales.

Sir Percy, Winner of 2006 Epsom Derby

Hallway Feeds has fed six of the last nine Kentucky Derby (G1) winners, including this year's Barbaro. The 2006 Epsom Derby (Eng-1) winner, Sir Percy, was fueled to the winner's circle by Saracen Feeds. Both horses were fed Race 13.
