Chester Weber, one of the most talented drivers in the world, brought home a trunkful of championship ribbons from his international competitions during the summer of 2011. Weber, who is sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research (KER), drove his four-in-hand of bay geldings in numerous competitions both in the United States and abroad, consistently finishing near or at the top of the field.

At competitions in Vecses, Hungary and Altenfelden, Austria in June, Weber guided his horses to grand champion finishes in both events against high-level European competitors. Also in June, Weber finished in third place at the World Equestrian Festival in Aachen, Germany. July saw a trip to Riesenbeck, Germany where the horses again earned grand champion honors.

Returning to Pennsylvania, Weber drove to a reserve champion finish at The Laurels at Landhope, a prestigious event with a long history of elite competitors. He plans to spend the winter competing and training in Florida.

Regarding KER's nutritional supplements Hemabuild, Nano•E, and Restore, Weber said,   "KER products help my horses perform at their peak and stay conditioned despite the rigorous training, travel, and competition schedule."

In different disciplines and on opposite sides of the globe, two equestrians sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research (KER) found victory over the weekend of July 23-24.

Eventer Phillip Dutton won the Advanced division of The Event at Rebecca Farm aboard Ben, owned by Team Rebecca LLC. Dutton scored a 33.3 in dressage and added only 16.8 time penalties on cross-country to finish on a score of 50.1.

Dutton uses KER's Restore electrolyte, as well as EO∙3, a rich source of omega-3 fatty acids, and EquiShure, KER's unique time-released hindgut buffer. See a video of Dutton discussing the nutrition of his event horses.

Right on the heels of his recent third place at the Aachen World Equestrian Festival, KER-sponsored combined driver Chester Weber won the CAI A-4 Riesenbeck in Germany.

Weber also uses KER's Restore electrolyte, a carefully formulated supplement designed to match the composition of horse sweat. View a video of Chester Weber discussing his relationship with KER.

Both Weber and Dutton are also sponsored by KER Team Member Pennfield Equine Feed Technologies.

Chester Weber, a combined driver sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research (KER), finished in third place in individual combined driving at the recent Aachen World Equestrian Festival (CHIO Aachen). Weber won the dressage portion of the event.

"It was spectacular," Ed Young, U.S. Driving Chef d'Equipe, was quoted as saying. "He drove a wonderful test. It really was flawless, and it went beautifully."

Chester Weber, a combined driver sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research (KER), will compete in Germany at the Aachen World Equestrian Festival (CHIO Aachen) July 8-17.

Weber has been named the U.S. Equestrian Federation Four-in-Hand Driving Champion for eight years in a row and has long been associated with KER. He uses KER's Restore electrolyte, a carefully formulated supplement designed to match the composition of horses' sweat.

Chester Weber, a veteran four-in-hand driver, used his skill and experience to help the U.S. team claim the silver medal at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. Driving four warmblood horses, Weber was tied for second place following the dressage phase of the competition. He followed this performance with a very fast trip on the marathon day. Unfortunately, he picked up penalties for several errors although his time was among the best of all drivers. Weber finished the marathon day in 19th position but rallied to claim the top spot in the cones course, the final phase of the driving event. His flawless performance, combined with those of his U.S. teammates, brought the U.S. team into silver-medal stance when the final scores were tallied.

Weber is sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research and is also a Promise Partner for Pennfield Feeds, a KER Team Member.

Driver Chester Weber added last weekend's Iron Horse CDE to his impressive list of combined driving wins. Weber, who is sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research (KER), stated earlier this year that he planned to use the event to fine-tune his team for the upcoming Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.

The Laurels at Landhope International Combined Driving Event, which will be held in West Grove, Chester County, Pa., September 10-12, will be the final U.S. driving selection prior to the Games.

With the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games approaching, the race is on to see which riders, drivers, and vaulters will represent the United States for the eight World Championship titles to be contested in Lexington.

The selection process is ongoing, but several of the equestrians sponsored by Kentucky Equine Research (KER) are in contention.

KER riders have made a big impact on selectors in the sport of eventing. Phillip Dutton holds five of the 18 spots with horses Connaught, Kheops du Quesnay, The Foreman, Truluck, and Woodburn. Karen O'Connor and Mandiba have also been named to the short list for consideration. All short-listed horse/rider combinations must participate in the Land Rover 2010 USEA American Eventing Championships for final selection. This event will take place September 9-12, 2010, in Fairburn, Georgia.

In the sport of combined driving, KER equestrian Chester Weber is among 10 drivers named to the nominated entry for WEG. From this group the definite entry (team and Individuals) will be named to represent the United States in the Four-in-Hand Driving Championships.

Sponsored rider Mary Jordan also finished in the Top 10 at the selection trials for para-equestrian dressage, riding her own homebred mare Paxton Abbey.
