Hollywood Calling

Although we aren't able to share details at this time, one of the Thoroughbreds is going to be a television star after a popular reality show was filmed at KER earlier this week.

Harry was selected for the starring role based on his maturity and ease of handling. Even so, some extra training was required to acclimatize him to lights, cameras, and having strange people moving around while he was working on the treadmill at full speed.

KER videographer Chad Mendell did a practice run a few days prior to the actual shoot.

He said that Harry handled the addition to his workspace with his usual professionalism.

"I was able to move around him pretty easy," Chad reported. "I'd move slow and he'd just watch me, but never broke stride. I think his heart rate stayed pretty normal."

The training paid off, as Harry also performed admirably during the shoot, demonstrating a standardized exercise test and being handled by a novice on camera for routine tasks such as bathing.

Now we know that if his racing career doesn't work out, Harry definitely has a future in show business!

Keep an eye on ker.com for the announcement of when Harry's starring role will debut.
