After completing a tertiary education in rural business management and going on to manage properties which ran Thoroughbred horses, beef, sheep and goats, Rod’s career experience is diverse to say the least.
Rod owned and managed a successful equine feeds/saddlery business in Corowa, NSW for three years, enabling him to understand the horse industry from both sides of the counter. The need to consistently meet his customers’ requirements for superior equine nutrition is what first sparked Rod’s interest in KER’s products and the obvious benefits of well-balanced equine diets.
Another constant in his life, however, is his love of horses, and in particular show-jumping. Beginning at the Mansfield Pony Club, Rod competed in shows every weekend for as long as he can remember, and was a member of the Victorian Show-jumping Squad from 1996 to 1998. Having competed up to A-grade level, Rod still competes actively at shows throughout Victoria and NSW.
