St. Hippolyt Nutrition Concepts...Feeding as nature intended
St Hippolyt, based in Dielheim, Germany joined the KER family of Team Members in 2005, further broadening the company's presence in Europe. St. Hippolyt uses a holistic understanding of nutrition to manufacture state-of-the-art feeds.
St. Hippolyt has several high-performance feeds intended for sport horses formulated by KER nutritionists. These formulas incorporate the very latest advances in equine nutrition. Various energy sources in these feeds will fulfill the energy demands required by racehorses and sport horses involved in three-day eventing and endurance," said Clarissa Brown-Douglas, of KER International. The feeds are marketed in Germany and other European countries including Italy, Spain, France and Denmark.
Using whole food principles adapted from human nutrition research, St. Hippolyt produces a unique line of natural feeds for horses. These feeds feature naturally grown raw ingredients harvested in regions close to the manufacturing facility in Dielheim. Close proximity of ingredient suppliers ensures raw materials arrive at the mill fresh, and careful attention is given to all of the ingredients ensure their purity. Ingredients include not only different types of cereals but also cultivated plants that are nutritious to horses such as herbs. Mindful processing techniques guarantee ingredients retain as much of their nutritive value as possible, leaving intact essential vitamins and minerals.
In keeping with whole food principles, St. Hippolyt feeds contain no additives such as preservatives or refining agents.
