The Burlington Feed Mill

Cooperative Plus, Inc. (CPI) was formed in 1999 when Burlington Consumers Cooperative (established in 1937), Farmers Grain and Supply (established in 1918), and Consumers Cooperative of Walworth County (established in 1936) merged. There are now five feed locations, along with several fertilizer and petroleum locations. Feed stores are located in Burlington, Elkhorn, Clinton, Union Grove, and East Troy.

Now with a combined membership/ownership of over 10,000 individuals and annual sales of over $50 million, CPI is your link to the future. This growth was accomplished by the constant support of local farm and city patrons and by the management and staff dedicated to the cooperative principles of quality and service.

CPI strives to produce feeds that include only the finest ingredients and the utmost attention to detail. CPI joined forces with Kentucky Equine Research (KER) to bring its customers the latest in horse feed technology. KER is an international consultation company that serves horse owners and feed manufacturers.

The professional staff at KER works with horsemen worldwide to develop horse feeds suited for the particular regions in which they will be used. KER conducts nutrition and exercise physiology studies at its research facility in central Kentucky.

The combination of CPI's dedication to quality and KER's technical expertise in the field of equine nutrition gives horse owners in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois horse feed products and technical support unrivaled in the industry.
